England, 2008. Brothers Tom and Phil Burgess – aka Empire State Human and Firework – are members of the Great Britons, a London-based superhero team.

Theirs is a fractious relationship and when constant feuding gets the pair kicked out, it sets off a chain of tragic events that could culminate not only in the death of the Great Britons – but the destruction of London itself!

Originally released as a one-shot comic in 2009 by Moonface Press, Markosia has given the book a makeover to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Brothers has been completely re-lettered and artist Andy Radbourne has added brand new story pages, including a shock new ending, and a brand-new back cover.

A story about feuding brothers seems even more appropriate in 2024 than it did in 2009 – not only are Oasis’s Gallagher boys back in action after 15 years but there’s a pair of Royal princes who aren’t exactly on speaking terms either.”
