Stoked

Stoked is a new comic series with a grim premise; a detective must work against the odds to debunk a case of suspected spontaneous human combustion.

But this is Wiverton Deep — nothing happens in this sh*tty town and it has been grinding our protagonist into the ground. He’s hard for this case, it’s pretty weird.

Detective Hubbard is our troubled protagonist; he experiences glass-in-his-eyes lows and “I can f*cking fly” highs. He’s not the most emotionally-equipped person for this case.

Hubbard is forced to team up with mild-mannered, fresh-faced recruit Stan. They’re polar opposites – both have their own theories on what happened.

Is spontaneous human combustion real? Or is something more sinister in play?
