Description
This is a sword and sorcery/sword and soul comic series based on the Nyumbani Chronicles literary novel titled Nyumbani Chronicles the Return Home. Authored by Rod Van Blake and art by Jordan Purnell Jackson. Genesis of a Chaos Master is the first issue. Nyumbani which means “home” in Swahili is a once pristine fantasy realm created by the Orisha. Two of them Shango and Oya argue over who’s lightning is more powerful. To settle the argument Olorun offers to test them but in reality only wants to end the debate between them. Taking the two portion of talent, the sky god and creator imbues a new life with these powers. This event creates an interesting riddle.
What happens when you take the powers of Shango and Oya and infuse them into an unborn child? Will the child be destroyed by these powers, or will they grow to control them to become the embodiment of the maelstrom? Which will it be…a tragic existence or elevation to Chaos Master?
