Ancient Illumination
Description
This is a series of graphic novels based on the literary novels. Ancient Illumination is a first contact, military action sci-fi saga about sentient beings of pure light coming to Earth, 68,000 years in the past to teach mankind. One of these beings does not believe Cro-Magnons will ever evolve enough to get the lessons and begins experimenting. As punishment this sole being is exiled on Earth and forced to stay behind to enlighten them. As a result, mutant races spring up, warfare becomes more advanced and complicated with the help of the exile. The citizens of Earth become entertainment as the alien watches all the chaos they foment war and conflict over resources. Eventually the mutants band together in an effort to find this lost being.
There are currently two 56-page full color volumes! We hope to start work on volume 3 in the winter of 2023. Stay tuned! Written by Rod Van Blake, Artist Jordan Purnell Jackson.
