This is probably not the first setting you’d think of when thinking about genetically engineered animals.
Join Theodore P. Ratl is the descendent of a genetically engineered Rat. Join him on the first day of his new life in the New World. Not only is his arrival quite unorthodox, it also seems that if Ratl isn’t going to find trouble, trouble is willing enough to find him.
Luckily for him, He’s about to meet someone who might just be more than his meal ticket!

Ratl & Roll is set more in the humorous style of British / Franco-Belgian style with which I grew up. The blurb “Not just another funny animal comic” was swiped from and a nod to the original “Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew” which was one of my favorite ever DC series.
While promoting the story on several YouTube shows, my art style has been, more than once, compared to that of Cerebus the Aardvark — which I, stylistically talking, take as a real compliment.
I’m currently working on the second issue of this planned five-issue story arc.
