After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree, Faith Richmond’s big dreams soon meet the reality that wanting to change the world and having the ability to do so are two very different things. Struggling to find work as she watches her friends get ahead, it feels like her dreams have become nightmares.
What Faith doesn’t know is that it’s as she sleeps when she makes the biggest difference: when her subconscious takes over as a real superhero, making the world better in ways she never can. Convinced her life won’t fail to start forever, Faith decides the only way to deal with #thestruggle is to push through it, risking her dignity and her future in the process. That’s when the real nightmares begin.
A story about the gap between the imagination and the reality of adult life: what happens to your dreams when you have trouble fitting in and don’t know why, Sleepwalkers explores issues of social justice, the gig economy, and coping with the horror of modern-day adulting.
This 110-page volume collects issues #1-4, the first story arc of Sleepwalkers. Written by Danny Gorny, illustrated by Greg Woronchak and Felipe Obando, colored by Felipe Obando, and lettered by Marco Della Verde. The campaign also includes a teaser of the second story arc with the inclusion of Issue 5 as an add-on.
