The world is in jeopardy, the prophecy is about to be fulfilled, and the dark lord is about to claim their prize… go bother someone else about it! But if the stakes are fairly low, and the threat is vaguely relevant to the world at large, one should call upon Cyndi and Yaron, a pair of Side Questers. Cyndi, the purehearted axe-wielding warrior dedicated to doing right, and her best friend Yaron, a 9ft lizard man with an open mind and a big hammer, are out to make some pals, do some good, and annihilate every jerk that crosses their path. Together they take on the quests and deeds most other heroes ignore or overlook. No destruction of some mystic Macguffin can amount to the impact this duo has on the lives of the everyday people in their world.
